The game between closely ranked teams ended with their biggest opponent Spot Up Medien Baskets' (14-6) road loss to first ranked Hannover Tigers (15-4) 67-82 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-67. Hannover Tigers made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Jan-Peter Prasuhn (198-82) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Hannover Tigers maintains first position in Group North with 15-4 record. Spot Up Medien Baskets at the other side keep the second place with six games lost. Hannover Tigers will face SSV Lok Bernau (#13) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
