Regular Season Round 22: Hannover - SU Medien 82-67

The game between closely ranked teams ended with their biggest opponent Spot Up Medien Baskets' (14-6) road loss to first ranked Hannover Tigers (15-4) 67-82 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-67. Hannover Tigers made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Jan-Peter Prasuhn (198-82) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Richard Williams (178-87, college: San Diego St.) contributed with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four Hannover Tigers players scored in double figures. Center Daniel Theis (207-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds and guard Dennis Schroeder (186-93) added 22 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Spot Up Medien Baskets. Hannover Tigers maintains first position in Group North with 15-4 record. Spot Up Medien Baskets at the other side keep the second place with six games lost. Hannover Tigers will face SSV Lok Bernau (#13) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
