Not a big story in a game when 16th ranked TBB Trier (6-14) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked ALBA Berlin (13-6) 73-61 on Sunday. TBB Trier was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. The best player for the winners was American guard DaShaun Wood (185-85, college: Wright St.) who scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import guard Bryce Taylor (196-86, agency: Priority Sports) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. Four ALBA Berlin players scored in double figures. American forward Nate Linhart (201-86, college: Akron) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Philip Zwiener (198-85) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. ALBA Berlin maintains fourth position with 13-6 record. Loser TBB Trier keeps the sixteenth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with EnBW L'burg. ALBA Berlin will meet bottom-ranked BG Goettingen (#18) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. TBB Trier will play against Bayern Muenchen and hope to secure a win.
