An interesting game took place in Duesseldorf where higher ranked Gloria Giants (10-10) were upseton its own court by twelfth ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (9-11) 80-70. The game was mostly controlled by Ehingen/Urspringschule. Gloria Giants was better in third quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ehingen/Urspringschule made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American guard Garrett Williamson (196-88, college: St.Joseph's) who led his team to a victory with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Center Andreas Buechert (208-87, college: Winthrop, agency: Limelight Hoops) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Estonian forward Rait Keerles (201-80) answered with 20 points and 9 rebounds and naturalized Croatian guard Marin Petric (190-80) added 21 points in the effort for Gloria Giants. Five Ehingen/Urspringschule and four Gloria Giants players scored in double figures. Gloria Giants' coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Ehingen/Urspringschule moved-up to tenth place. Gloria Giants at the other side keep the sixth position with ten games lost. Ehingen/Urspringschule's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Kirchheim Knights at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
