The game in Ankara supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Gaziantep (16-6) played at the court of 7th ranked Maliye Milli (14-8). Gaziantep did not have too big problems ending evening with a very confident victory 81-62. The game without a history. Gaziantep led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Gaziantep outrebounded Maliye Milli 37-23 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guard Murat Goektas (201-87) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. American guard Antabia Waller (188-88, college: Auburn) contributed with 23 points for the winners. The former international center Umit Turkoglu (211-81, agency: 1x1 Sports) answered with 15 points and 5 rebounds and guard Onur Altinmakas (189-80) added 12 points in the effort for Maliye Milli. Maliye Milli's coach let to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Gaziantep moved-up to third place, which they share with Genc Telekom. Maliye Milli at the other side dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost. Gaziantep's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Optimum TED in Ankara and it will be for sure the game of the week.
