No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Splosna plovba (11-5) smashed on the road bottom-ranked Litija (3-13) 74-55 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 19 points. Splosna plovba dominated on the defensive end, holding Litija to just 7 points in second quarter. Guard David Moro (199-86) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and power forward Adin Kavgic (193-87) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four Splosna plovba players scored in double figures. Center Crt Lipovsek (194-88) responded with 9 points and 9 rebounds and forward Saso Ljubenovic (205-82) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Splosna plovba moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Postojna. Litija lost their third game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. Splosna plovba will meet at home Radenska (#7) in the next round. Litija will play against the league's leader Grosuplje (#1) in Grosuplje and hope to secure a win.
