An interesting game took place in Tire where higher ranked Final Genclik (14-8) was upset on the court of sixteenth ranked Tire Gucu (9-13) 80-75 on Wednesday. Final Genclik trailed by 11 points at halftime and as many as 18 after three quarters before a 27-14 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 75-80 at the end of the game. It was a great evening for power forward Tyrus Boswell (202-78, college: Ky Wesleyan, agency: EM-PA) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Cemal Bayraktar (184-82, agency: 1x1 Sports) helped adding 19 points and 5 assists. point guard Esat Sinanoglu (188-82) responded with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Orcun Okkali (201-87) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Four Final Genclik players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Tire Gucu moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Final Genclik lost their third game in a row. They keep the sixth position with eight games lost. Tire Gucu will face Orman Genc (#18) in Ankara in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
