There was no surprise in Giessen where 14th ranked LTi 46ers (7-14) were crushed by ninth ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (11-9) 102-82. The game was mostly controlled by Eisbaeren Bremerhaven. LTi 46ers was better in third quarter 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven shot 66.7 percent from the field. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven had a 29-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Eisbaeren Bremerhaven especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven's next round opponent will be Deutsche Bank Skyliners (#11) in Frankfurt which should be theoretically another easy game.
