There was a minor upset when 12th ranked Mersin (6-12) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Antalya (4-14) 86-76. The hosts were ahead by 8 points but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 25-13 run, which allowed them to win the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Mersin helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American guard Corey Fisher (185-88, college: Villanova) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 5 rebounds.
