A very interesting game took place in Wulfen. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 7th ranked RSV Eintracht (11-11) to eighth ranked BSV Wulfen (10-12) 75-73 on Saturday evening. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. BSV Wulfen forced 22 RSV Eintracht turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Rodriguez Sherman (188-87, college: Kent St., agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points. Guard Steve Briggs (178-85, college: Okla.Wesleyan) contributed with 11 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four BSV Wulfen players scored in double figures. Guard Keoni Watson (178-84, college: Idaho, agency: Dynamics Global Management) answered with 21 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals and forward Kellen Williams (194-84, college: E.Washington, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for RSV Eintracht. Newly promoted BSV Wulfen maintains eighth place in Group North with 10-12 record. RSV Eintracht lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 11 games lost. BSV Wulfen's next round opponent will be higher ranked Hertener Loewen (#3) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
