There was no surprise when 12th ranked Giessen Pointers (2-18) were outplayed on the road by first ranked Oettinger Rockets Gotha (16-4) 88-57 on Saturday. The game without a history. Oettinger Rockets Gotha led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Giessen Pointers to just 6 points in third quarter. Oettinger Rockets Gotha dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Giessen Pointers' 24. It was a great evening for guard David Watson (185-88) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points.
