Very important is a road loss of second ranked Kirchheim Knights (15-6) against tenth ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (10-11) on Sunday night. Visiting Kirchheim Knights were defeated by Ehingen/Urspringschule in a tough game in Allmendingen 74-83. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Kirchheim Knights. The hosts were already 14 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 24-19 Kirchheim Knights' run in the last quarter cut the lead to 83-74 at the end of the game. Ehingen/Urspringschule players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Virgil Matthews (188-83, college: Montana) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field).
