The game was mostly controlled by Horsens IC. Horsholm managed to win second period 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was forward Will Harris (198-86, college: Albany) who scored 29 points and 7 rebounds. Power forward Mike St.John (203-84, college: La Salle) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists. St.John is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Horsens IC players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Joe Benjamin (201-83, college: W.Virginia St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and forward Bonell Colas (205-82, college: Florida) added 14 points and 4 steals (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) respectively. Horsens IC moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Horsholm and Vaerlose. Horsens IC will meet league's second-placed Svendborg on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Horsholm will play against the league's leader Bakken in Aarhus and hope to secure a win.
