NKL round 5 caused change at the leadership position. Thirteenth defeat of league's leader LKKA-Atletas (22-13) against fourth ranked Delikatesas (22-13) 89-87 was the most important game of the last round. It was a key game for the second position in . The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But LKKA-Atletas won fourth quarter 30-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Delikatesas dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to LKKA-Atletas' 46. Guard Aivaras Kvedaravicius (184-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Vidmantas Uzkuraitis (189-85) contributed with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Vidmantas Sragauskis (200-86) answered with 28 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Matas Sapiega (179-90) added 16 points and 8 assists in the effort for LKKA-Atletas. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. LKKA-Atletas' coach Edas Nickus rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Delikatesas moved-up to second place in .
