Everything went according to plan in Bonn where tenth ranked Telekom Baskets (12-11) beat 16th ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (7-16) 90-78 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Telekom Baskets. EnBW Ludwigsburg was better in third quarter 25-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Telekom Baskets made 23-of-26 free shots (88.5 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American center Chris Ensminger (209-73, college: Valparaiso, agency: Limelight Hoops) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Telekom Baskets. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with B.Muenchen. Loser EnBW Ludwigsburg keeps the sixteenth position with 16 games lost. Telekom Baskets will face New Yorker Phantoms (#9) in Braunschweig in the next round. EnBW Ludwigsburg will play at home against ALBA Berlin (#4).
