An interesting game took place in Frankfurt where higher ranked Bayern Muenchen (12-11) was upset on the court of twelfth ranked Deutsche Bank Skyliners (10-13) 68-49 on Saturday. The game without a history. Deutsche Bank Skyliners led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Bayern Muenchen was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American guard Jimmy McKinney (192-83, college: Missouri, agency: Strategic Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Quantez Robertson (189-84, college: Auburn) helped adding 11 points and 8 rebounds. Robertson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Deutsche Bank Skyliners players scored in double figures. American-Bulgarian center Jared Homan (206-83, college: Iowa St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and Serbian forward Aleksandar Nadjfeji (203-76) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Bayern Muenchen's coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Deutsche Bank Skyliners maintains twelfth place with 10-13 record. Newly promoted Bayern Muenchen keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. Deutsche Bank Skyliners will face BBC Bayreuth (#13) on the road in the next round.
