Regular Season Round 25: Horsholm - Bakken 63-79

Ligaen top team - Bakken (23-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat fifth ranked Horsholm (9-16) 79-63. The game without a history. Bakken led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Bakken outrebounded Horsholm 38-24 including 24 on the defensive glass. The former international power forward Nicolai Iversen (205-80, college: San Jose City JC) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and the former international center Chris Christoffersen (218-79, college: Oregon) accounted for 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four Bakken players scored in double figures. American forward Bonell Colas (205-82, college: Florida) came up with 20 points and the other American import power forward Joe Benjamin (201-83, college: W.Virginia St.) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Horsholm in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bakken have an impressive series of nineteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 23-1 record. Horsholm lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with 16 games lost. Bakken will play against league's second-placed Svendborg at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Horsholm will play against Falcon (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
