Regular Season Round 25: Hannover - Rist Wedel 85-91

Top ranked Hannover Tigers (17-5) recorded its fifth loss at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by tenth ranked SC Rist Wedel (10-13) 91-85. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hannover Tigers. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Hannover Tigers won third quarter 26-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. SC Rist Wedel made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Forward Fabian Boeke (211-86, college: Washington St.) fired 26 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American center Anthony Pettaway (203-87, college: Defiance) chipped in 22 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!). Swingman Jan-Peter Prasuhn (198-82) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and Canadian forward Jacob Doerksen (200-87, agency: Interperformances) added 26 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. SC Rist Wedel moved-up to eighth place in Group North, which they share with Wolfenbuettel and Wulfen. Hannover Tigers at the other side still keep top position with five games lost. SC Rist Wedel is looking forward to face Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (#9) at home in the next round. Hannover Tigers will play against BSV Wulfen (#8) and are hoping to win this game.
