There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Sabac (8-10) smashed at home higher ranked Spartak (10-7) 91-71 on Sunday. The game without a history. Sabac led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Spartak's 36. It was a great shooting night for Sabac especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. Guard Pavle Boljkovac (190-85, agency: Kotnik Sports Agency) scored 32 points to lead the charge for the winners and center Pavle Koprivica (207-85) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was power forward Slobodan Ljubotina (207-84, agency: BeoExcell) with 18 points and guard Miodrag Dinic (197-80) scored 14 points and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Spartak's coach let to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Sabac moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Viva Basket. Spartak at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Sabac will face Beovuk 72 (#11) in Beograd in the next round. Spartak will play at home against Radnicki OB (#5) in Obrenovac and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
