The game between fifth ranked BC-93 Pulsar (13-9) and 7th ranked Koksokh-Stal (6-14) in Rovno on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. BC-93 Pulsar outscored guests from Alchevsk 108-68. The game without a history. BC-93 Pulsar led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Koksokh-Stal's 22 and made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Koksokh-Stal 42-24 including a 34-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. BC-93 Pulsar looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a quality performance for swingman Taras Lipin (185-93) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 assists. Forward Igor Pelypeiko (200-85) accounted for 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Five BC-93 Pulsar players scored in double figures. BC-93 Pulsar's coach Mikhail Pereverziy felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Boris Bereziuk (196-87) came up with 30 points and power forward Aleksander Kolomiychuk (202-91) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Koksokh-Stal in the defeat. BC-93 Pulsar maintains fifth place with 13-9 record. Koksokh-Stal lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with 14 games lost. BC-93 Pulsar will meet league's leader Avantazh-Politekhnik in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
