Regular Season Round 25: Tire Gucu - Pi Koleji 63-75

Date: February 19, 2012
No shocking result in a game when third ranked Genc Telekom (18-6) beat on the road 14th ranked Tire Gucu (9-15) 75-63 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Genc Telekom. Tire Gucu was better in fourth quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Genc Telekom had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for Croatian power forward Nenad Delic (210-84, agency: TSS Management) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Hazer Avci (206-87, agency: Court Side) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. American forward Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) answered with 17 points and 5 rebounds and Kemal Koeseoglu (-81) added 9 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Tire Gucu. Tire Gucu's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Genc Telekom maintains third place with 18-6 record behind leader Selcuk Univ. Loser Tire Gucu keeps the fourteenth position with 15 games lost. Genc Telekom will face Istanbulspor (#18) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Tire Gucu will play against Gaziantep (#4).
