Regular Season Round 18: SISU - Horsholm 68-65

Second-ranked Horsholm (13-5) made lots of trouble for top-ranked SISU (18-0) in Copenhagen on Sunday. SISU managed to secure only three-point victory 68-65. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Horsholm. Horsholm was trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 8-point lead after three quarters before a 25-14 charge of SISU, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American center Stephanie Madden (185-88, college: Langston) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Kiki Lund (177-83, college: Dayton) chipped in 18 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Lauren Beckley (181-91, college: Shippensburg) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and swingman Therese Deemand (175-83, college: Binghamton) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Four Horsholm players scored in double figures. SISU have an impressive 18-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 18-0 record. Horsholm at the other side keeps the second place with five games lost. SISU are looking forward to face Horsens (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Horsholm will play against Falcon and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
