An interesting game for Lemminkainen (14-8) which hosted in Klaipeda 4th ranked Sirenos (14-9). Second ranked Lemminkainen had an easy win 87-57. The game without a history. Lemminkainen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Sirenos' 28. Lemminkainen forced 23 Sirenos turnovers. International point guard Gabriele Gutkauskaite (172-90) notched 15 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international swingman Lina Aglinskaite (182-87) supported her with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Five Lemminkainen players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 23 points and 19 rebounds by center Kristina Alminaite (204-90) did not help to save the game for Sirenos. Forward Egle Taraseviciute (182-90) added 5 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Lemminkainen have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 14-8 record having eight points less than leader VICI-Aistes, which they share with Kibirkstis-Tiche. Sirenos lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourth place with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
