Very expected game when 14th ranked Silute (14-24) lost to eighth ranked Statyba (20-18) in Vilnius 64-73 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-64. Statyba outrebounded Silute 42-31 including 28 on the defensive glass. Swingman Tadas Rinkunas (195-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points. Guard Tomas Galeckas (183-94) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Statyba players scored in double figures. Statyba's coach Gintautas Regina used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Deividas Petravicius (198-83, college: Northwestern St.) replied with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Ignas Razutis (185-87) added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Silute.
