We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Varna where sixth ranked Balkan (7-12) defeated 5th ranked Euroins Cherno More (9-10) 66-54. The game was mostly controlled by Balkan. Euroins Cherno More was better in fourth quarter 15-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Euroins Cherno More 49-31 including 16 on the offensive glass. Balkan brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Euroins Cherno More at the other side keeps the fifth position with ten games lost. Balkan will play against higher ranked Tundja Yambol (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Euroins Cherno More will play against Spartak Pleven and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
