Very expected game when 16th ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (7-17) was defeated at home by fourth ranked ALBA Berlin (17-6) 83-78 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 27-14 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard DaShaun Wood (185-85, college: Wright St.) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 7 assists and the other American import guard Bryce Taylor (196-86, agency: Priority Sports) who added 16 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Mark Dorris (188-85, college: Marshall, agency: Court Side) with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and American-Dominican swingman Jeff Greer (196-79, college: Rutgers) scored 17 points. Four EnBW Ludwigsburg players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. ALBA Berlin have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Loser EnBW Ludwigsburg keeps the sixteenth position with 17 games lost. They share it with LTi 46ers. ALBA Berlin will meet at home Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (#6) in the next round. EnBW Ludwigsburg will play against LTi 46ers (#17) in Giessen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
