Everything went according to plan when first ranked Hannover Tigers (19-5) defeated on the road 8th ranked BSV Wulfen (10-14) 82-66 on Saturday. The game without a history. Hannover Tigers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Hannover Tigers outrebounded BSV Wulfen 39-23 including a 31-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Richard Williams (178-87, college: San Diego St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 4 assists. Canadian forward Jacob Doerksen (200-87, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Hannover Tigers players scored in double figures. American guard Steve Briggs (178-85, college: Okla.Wesleyan) replied with 18 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and guard Thomas Reuter (198-92) added 15 points in the effort for BSV Wulfen. BSV Wulfen's coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Hannover Tigers maintains first position in Group North with 19-5 record. Newly promoted BSV Wulfen dropped to the ninth place with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
