Very predictable result in Ankara where second ranked Optimum TED (21-5) smashed 13th ranked Pertevniyal (10-16) 85-58 on Saturday. The game without a history. Optimum TED led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Optimum TED outrebounded Pertevniyal 45-32 including a 38-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American forward DeAngelo Casto (203-90, college: Washington St., agency: VVG Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points and 6 rebounds. Swingman Cihan Amasyali (191-83) helped adding 12 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was point guard Soykan Yikilmaz (185-92) with 14 points and swingman Tayfun Erulku (188-94) scored 10 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Optimum TED have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Selcuk Univ. Pertevniyal lost third consecutive game.
