The game between Top Four teams took place in Konya. First ranked host Selcuk Universitesi (21-5) defeated 3rd placed Genc Telekom (19-7) 73-67. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Genc Telekom. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-19. But Genc Telekom won second period 16-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Selcuk Universitesi dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Genc Telekom's 26. It was a great evening for the former international forward Onur Aydin (203-79, agency: 1x1 Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). American guard Henry Antwan Dobie (183-78, college: LIU Brooklyn) helped adding 20 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Croatian power forward Nenad Delic (210-84, agency: TSS Management) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and point guard Can Ugur Ogut (178-92) scored 22 points. Selcuk Universitesi have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 21-5 record, which they share with Optimum TED. Genc Telekom at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. Selcuk Universitesi is looking forward to face Gaziantep (#4) on the road in the next round. Genc Telekom will play against Istanbul B.B. and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
