NBL top team - Dunav 8806 (17-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Levski (7-11) in Ruse 99-71. The game without a history. Dunav 8806 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 62.5 percent from the field. Dunav 8806 outrebounded Levski 32-21 including 20 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American forward Adrienne Johnson (182-89, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: LBM Management) had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds (on 16-of-20 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Charel Allen (181-86, college: Notre Dame, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 27 points during the contest. At the losing side the former international forward Agnesa Doychinova (188-73) responded with 22 points and 5 rebounds and the former international guard Diana Naydenova (171-73, agency: Global Sports Plaza) scored 9 points and 9 assists. Dunav 8806 have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 17-1 record. Levski at the other side keeps the fifth place with 11 games lost. Dunav 8806 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Levski will play at home against Beroe 07 (#3) in Stara Zagora and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
