Leader Brose Baskets delivered the twentieth first victory. This time they crushed 15th ranked LTi 46ers (7-17) 97-63 in Bamberg. The game was mostly controlled by Brose Baskets. LTi 46ers was better in fourth quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Brose Baskets shot 61.1 percent from the field and had 25 for 34 from the free-throw line, while LTi 46ers only scored seven points from the stripe. They outrebounded LTi 46ers 32-21 including a 25-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Brose Baskets players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. LTi 46ers were plagued by 33 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for international power forward Tibor Pleiss (214-89) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Anthony Leon Tucker (198-85, college: Texas) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Brose Baskets players scored in double figures. Serbian guard Radenko Pilcevic (188-86) replied with 14 points and Nigerian-American forward Koko Archibong (202-81, college: Pennsylvania) added 12 points in the effort for LTi 46ers. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Brose Baskets (21-2) have an impressive 15-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position. LTi 46ers lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixteenth place with 17 games lost. They share the position with EnBW L'burg. Brose Baskets will play against Deutsche Bank Skyliners (#11) in Frankfurt in the next round and are hoping to win another game. LTi 46ers will play at home against EnBW Ludwigsburg (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
