Bottom-ranked Slavia is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 18th consecutive match to sixth ranked Rilski Sportist (4-15) 87-76 on Sunday evening. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Guard Veronika Djikova (180-90) notched 20 points and 5 rebounds (made all of her eight free throws) to lead the effort and center Tsvetelina Nikolova (191-88) supported her with 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Even a double-double of 15 points and 10 assists by the former international forward Neli Pasheva (175-81) did not help to save the game for Slavia. Guard Stefka Nikolova (173-90) added 14 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for lost side. Four Rilski Sportist and five Slavia players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Rilski Sportist maintains sixth position with 4-15 record. Loser Slavia still closes the standings. Rilski Sportist will meet at home higher ranked Montana 2003 (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Slavia will play against the league's second-placed Neftochimic in Burgas and hopes to get finally their first victory.
