Regular Season Round 29: Azovmash - Halychyna 85-69

Very expected game when 14th ranked Halychyna (6-24) lost to third ranked Azovmash (20-10) in Mariupol 69-85. The game was mostly controlled by Azovmash. Halychyna was better in fourth quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 27-of-30 charity shots (90.0 percent) during the game. Azovmash forced 19 Halychyna turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Halychyna helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American point guard Jerome Randle (178-87, college: California) who scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Daniel Ewing (191-83, college: Duke, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Serbian power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, agency: Beo Basket) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Bosnian-Serbian forward Miroslav Todic (205-85) added 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Azovmash moved-up to second place. Halychyna at the other side stay dead last with 24 lost games. Azovmash's next round opponent will be BC Kyiv (#9) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Halychyna will play against Mykolaiv (#11) in Mykolaiv.
