A very close game took place in Dnepropetrovsk between Cherkasy and Dnipro. Thirteenth ranked Cherkasy (8-21) got a very close victory on the road over higher ranked Dnipro (16-14). Cherkasy managed to escape with a 1-point win 85-84 on Tuesday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dnipro. Four Dnipro players scored in double figures. Cherkasy maintains thirteenth place with 8-21 record. Loser Dnipro keeps the eighth position with 14 games lost. Cherkasy will meet higher ranked Ferro-ZNTU (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dnipro will play against BC Donetsk and will have a slim chance for a victory.
