There was a minor upset when 3rd placed Naestved (17-10) lost on the road to fifth ranked Horsens IC (12-15) 81-75 on Thursday. Naestved was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 23-13 charge of Horsens IC, which allowed them to win the game. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for power forward Mike St.John (203-84, college: La Salle) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Will Harris (198-86, college: Albany) contributed with 24 points for the winners. St.John is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. point guard Corin Henry (180-88, college: Tarleton St.) answered with 22 points and 6 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin, agency: I.D.S. Law) added 17 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Naestved. Four Naestved players scored in double figures. Naestved's coach Geoff Kotila rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Horsens IC have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with SISU. Loser Naestved keeps the third position with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
