A very close game took place in Klaipeda between Kedainiai and Neptunas. Ninth ranked Kedainiai (6-11) got a very close victory on the road over 7th ranked Neptunas (6-11). Kedainiai managed to escape with a 2-point win 93-91 in the fight for the seventh place. The guests trailed by 14 points after three quarters before their 31-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Kedainiai made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Guard Vytautas Sulskis (200-88, college: Youngstown St.) nailed 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and forward Laimonas Kisielius (203-85, college: William & Mary) accounted for 15 points and 5 rebounds. Five Kedainiai players scored in double figures. Forward Laurynas Mikalauskas (205-85, college: Virginia) came up with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds and forward Arturas Valeika (206-85, college: Midland CC) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Neptunas in the defeat. Neptunas' coach Paulius Juodis tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kedainiai moved-up to seventh place, which they share with defeated Neptunas. Neptunas lost their seventh game in a row. Kedainiai will meet league's leader Lietuvos rytas in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Neptunas will play against Juventus (#9) in Utena and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
