Eighth-ranked Triobet (20-19) gave a tough game to first ranked Radviliskis (26-13) in Jonava on Friday. The visitors from Radviliskis managed to secure only one-point victory 67-66. However their fans expected much easier game. Triobet was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Radviliskis made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. Forward Audrius Mineikis (201-77) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and center Juozas Ramanauskas (207-85) chipped in 7 points and 15 rebounds. The best for the losing side was guard Tadas Sebeziovas (183-85) with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Martynas Linkevicius (197-85) scored 9 points and 12 rebounds. Triobet's coach Kestutis Narusevicius rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Radviliskis maintains first place in with 26-13 record. Triobet at the other side dropped to the ninth position with 19 games lost. Radviliskis are looking forward to face Matinga-Juod. (#5) in Marijampole in the next round. Triobet will play on the road against the league's second-placed LKKA-Atletas (#2) in Kaunas and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
