An interesting game for Rilski Sportist (12-8) which played road game in Sofia against second-ranked Levski Sofia (16-4). Third ranked Rilski Sportist managed to get a 14-point victory 91-77. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Levski Sofia. The game was mostly controlled by Rilski Sportist. Levski Sofia managed to win fourth quarter 29-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rilski Sportist maintains third position with 12-8 record having six points less than leader Lukoil Academik, which they share with Tundja Yambol. Levski Sofia at the other side keeps the second place with four games lost. Rilski Sportist is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Chernomorets (#8) in Burgas in the next round where they are favorite. Levski Sofia will play on the road against Euroins Cherno More (#5) in Varna and is hoping to win this game.
