Very predictable result in Siauliai where ninth ranked Statyba (21-18) defeated bottom-ranked ABRO-Universitetas (7-32) 80-65 on Friday. ABRO-Universitetas was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 27-9 charge of Statyba, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to ABRO-Universitetas' 36. They outrebounded ABRO-Universitetas 41-29 including 17 on the offensive glass. Guard Ovidijus Varanauskas (187-91) stepped up and scored 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and swingman Tadas Rinkunas (195-91) chipped in 12 points and 4 assists. Statyba's coach Gintautas Regina allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was guard Rokas Giedraitis (195-92) with 20 points and 6 rebounds and center Agnius Gurklys (205-88) scored 18 points. Statyba moved-up to eighth place in .
