There was a small surprise in Homburg where fourteenth ranked Saar-Pfalz Braves (7-17) defeated 12th ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (10-14) 71-54 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Saar-Pfalz Braves. Ehingen/Urspringschule was better in third quarter 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Saar-Pfalz Braves shot 21 for 30 from the free-throw line, while Ehingen/Urspringschule only scored four points from the stripe. Saar-Pfalz Braves forced 19 Ehingen/Urspringschule turnovers.
