An interesting game where host Bayern Muenchen (#7) rolled over 4th placed Artland Dragons with 27-point difference 97-70 on Sunday evening. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 49-18 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Bayern Muenchen dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Artland Dragons' 34 and made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Bayern Muenchen looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Artland Dragons' players. American forward Chevon Troutman (202-81, college: Pittsburgh, agency: ACMT) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners and American-Bulgarian center Jared Homan (206-83, college: Iowa St.) chipped in 20 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Bayern Muenchen players scored in double figures. Bayern Muenchen's coach Dirk Bauermann felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American guard David Holston (170-86, college: Chicago St.) responded with 15 points and 6 assists and the other American import swingman Brandon Thomas (198-84, college: Massachusetts) scored 14 points. Bayern Muenchen (14-11) moved-up to sixth place. Artland Dragons lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourth position with eight games lost. Bayern Muenchen will meet EnBW Ludwigsburg (#17) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them.
