Very expected game when 13th ranked Perlas-MRU (18-23) lost to eighth ranked Statyba (23-18) in Vilnius 85-101 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Statyba. Perlas-MRU was better in second period 26-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Statyba looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Ovidijus Varanauskas (187-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 6 assists.
