Second Stage Round 11: LKKA-Atletas - Radviliskis 83-74

NKL round 11 caused change at the leadership position. Fifteenth defeat of league's leader Radviliskis (26-15) against second ranked LKKA-Atletas (26-15) 83-74 was the most important game of the last round. It was a key game for the top position in . The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 45-35 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely Radviliskis outrebounded LKKA-Atletas 36-23 including 29 on the defensive glass. Guard Sarunas Vingelis (192-89) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points. point guard Matas Sapiega (179-90) contributed with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Five LKKA-Atletas players scored in double figures. Center Rokas Grinius (204-88) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and guard Tomas Rakauskas (183-81) added 22 points in the effort for Radviliskis. LKKA-Atletas keeps a position of leader. Radviliskis will play next round against Zalgiris-Sabonio trying to make it back to the top of the standings. LKKA-Atletas will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Nafta Universitetas in Klaipeda.
