The game between Top Four teams took place in Alges. First ranked host Alges (16-2) defeated 4th ranked Sangalhos (10-8) 77-61. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sangalhos. Four Alges players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Emanuel Silva (188-79) with 18 points and 9 rebounds and guard Andre Duarte (178-81) scored 15 points. Alges maintains first position with 16-2 record. Sangalhos at the other side keep the fourth place with eight games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Alges are looking forward to face Oliveirense (#6) in Oliveira in the next round where they are favorite. Sangalhos will play at home against Maia Basket and are hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
