Regular Season Round 21: Horsens - Amager 94-76

There was no surprise when 5th ranked Amager (6-15) was defeated on the road by third ranked Horsens (13-8) 94-76 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 56-37 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. American swingman Brittany Bowen (177-88, college: Butler) stepped up and scored 30 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Australian guard Charmaine Furgeson (176-86) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Horsens players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Catharina Jensen (183-89) with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and guard Anna Seilund (174-93) scored 14 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Amager's coach Martin Kjaersgaard tested eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Horsens maintains third place with 13-8 record having eight points less than leader SISU. Loser Amager dropped to the sixth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Aabyhoj.
