The game between seventh ranked Ferro-ZNTU (19-14) and 10th ranked Kryvbasbasket (12-20) in Zaporozhye ended with biggest points difference. Ferro-ZNTU beat guests from Krivoy Rog 89-75. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kryvbasbasket. The game was mostly controlled by Ferro-ZNTU. Kryvbasbasket was better in fourth quarter 25-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ferro-ZNTU made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Randy Culpepper (182-89, college: UTEP) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import center R.T. Guinn (208-81, college: Baylor) who added 22 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Ferro-ZNTU players scored in double figures. American forward Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M, agency: N.E.T.) responded with 15 points and 6 rebounds and American-Belgian guard Marcus Faison (196-78, college: Siena) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Kryvbasbasket's coach Ainars Bagatskis rotated twelve players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ferro-ZNTU moved-up to fifth place, which they share with BC Odessa. Kryvbasbasket at the other side keeps the tenth position with 20 games lost. Ferro-ZNTU will play against bottom-ranked Halychyna (#14) in Lviv in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kryvbasbasket will play at home against Hoverla (#7) in Frankivsk and hopes to get back on the winning track.
