Everything went according to plan when second ranked ratiopharm Ulm (22-5) beat at home 17th ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (7-20) 84-80 on Wednesday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-80. ratiopharm Ulm made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American center John Bryant (208-87, college: Santa Clara) who scored 17 points and 8 rebounds.
