The game in Zaporozhye was also quite interesting. 4th placed Khimik (20-14) played at the court of fifth ranked Ferro-ZNTU (21-14). Ferro-ZNTU managed to secure a 7-point victory 82-75 on Friday. Khimik trailed by 13 points at halftime and as many as 17 after three quarters before a 27-17 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 75-82 at the end of the game. The best player for the winners was American center R.T. Guinn (208-81, college: Baylor) who scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Jeremy Chappell (191-87, college: Robert Morris) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Four Ferro-ZNTU players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Lithuanian point guard Arvydas Eitutavicius (188-82, college: American) who recorded 29 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and center Artem Pustovyi (216-92, agency: Beo Basket) added 16 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Khimik's coach Darko Russo rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Ferro-ZNTU. They moved-up to fourth place. Loser Khimik dropped to the fifth position with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
