The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Avantazh-Politekhnik as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Avantazh-Politekhnik smashed 9th ranked Vinnitsky Zubry in Kharkov 116-72. The game without a history. Avantazh-Politekhnik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 60.8 percent from the field. Avantazh-Politekhnik's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Gleb Glebov (208-82) replied with 27 points and 7 rebounds and guard Oleg Sarapulov (185-93) added 14 points in the effort for Vinnitsky Zubry.
