Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Statyba (25-19) and Meresta (22-22), which took place in Pakruojis. Higher ranked Statyba lost to twelfth ranked Meresta in a road game 80-85. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Statyba won third quarter 25-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was forward Audrius Maneikis (203-84, college: Motlow St. CC) who scored 20 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Forward Darius Griskenas (194-84) chipped in 19 points. Four Meresta players scored in double figures. Forward Darius Tarvydas (200-91) produced 21 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Tadas Rinkunas (195-91) added 11 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests.
