The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Ankara: Optimum TED (#1) and Maliye Milli (#5). Optimum TED (24-5) won against visiting Maliye Milli (20-10) 82-72. Optimum TED forced 22 Maliye Milli turnovers. 27 personal fouls committed by Maliye Milli helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Maliye Milli's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Optimum TED have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 24-5 record. Maliye Milli at the other side keeps the fifth position with ten games lost. They share it with Vestel and Final Genclik. Optimum TED are looking forward to face Darussafaka (#9) in Istanbul in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Maliye Milli will play at home against Gelisim (#11) in Izmir and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
